Day 1
Hello there world! Every day for the next 364 days, I will share my day... well my "life" with you all. Of course there will be some bad days along with my good days but ill be sure to try my best to make it an evenly distributed amount of good and bad days lol :)! Heres a little background story about me just so all of you (who ever you are that is reading this) can get to know me a bit more. My name is Kendric Lewis. I was born and raised in New Orleans louisiana. I am now a resident of Los Angeles, CA due to the natural disaster hurricane Katrina. Due to the dramatic evacuation process my family split to various states through out our country to states like .....Texas...New York...California...Tennessee etc. I had never even imagined living on another coast of our country...but when it happened I realized how different each coast really is (north, south, east, west!) Things that a 12 year old at the time would never assume to be different on another coast i.e the selection of food...New Orleans is filled with all types of delicious foods that have been around forever, especially sea food! Although I am not ever fond of sea food, being that I can only tolerate eating craw fish and nothing else lol, I still realized the difference. Then theres the difference in how people treat one another...like in New York, everyone seems to be very serious and focused nothing more nothing less. On the west side (CA) everyone is up tight i would say, the likelihood of someone greeting you with a simple smile or basic "hello" is very rare, the lack of basic hospitality really does bother me because basic hospitality is what I am used to! I would go and describe the most nothernest part of our country but hey I've never been, but I am absolutely have faith in that they are great people with bright and genuine spirits! :) (April 22, 2010) Kenn JaVon Minaj :-*
